We have a team of bookkeepers to service that area, based in Pascoe Vale South, servcing business owners in Airport West, Essendon and suburbs in between
With the recent launch of the adopted Moonee Valley Economic Development Strategy, “Energise.Connect.Prosper”, Moonee ValleyCouncil has made strong commitment towards commencing programs to support small business.
Over the next 12 months, Council will be addressing ways to increase local employment opportunities through training and support programs for its small business community.
In 2007, Moonee Valley had approximately 10,000 active businesses. Small business makes up 62 per cent of Moonee Valley’s business community.
Over the next 12 months Mooney Valley Council will focus on the following key projects to support small business:
* Online Business register
* Providing up-to-date economic and demographic research to enable small businesses to make informed decisions
* Supporting businesses early in stages of development through regularly visitations over a two year period
* Setting up a self-sustaining home-based and small business network
* Continuing to produce quarterly newsletter including information on promotions, networking events, training activities, trader leadership forums, information and reseach
* Preparing and distributing business kits, relevant information and establishing support networks
to help new businesses in Moonee Valley
* Sponsorship of the “new Business ” category of the Leader Business Excellence Awards
